Arrival
Parents of students in grades K-8 will be able to drop off students in the back of the building beginning at 7:30am. Students are ONLY allowed to enter in the doors between the Art Room and the Cafeteria in the morning. Students will be able to have breakfast prior to their school day beginning as long as they arrive to school on time. After 8:00am students must enter in the front of the building and pick up a late pass from the Main Office. |
Attendance Policy
The school day is from 7:45am – 2:00pm for grades K-8. Please note that all students are required to be in school from 7:45am – 2:00pm, however the time for Pre-K runs from 8:30am – 4:30pm. Prior to entering school, all parents/guardians of children at Wexler-Grant must attend a mandatory orientation session. The orientation schedule is listed above. |
Dismissal
Students in K-4 dismiss at 2:00pm and students in grades 5-8 dismiss at 2:10pm. Pick Ups Parents/guardians must send a note in with their student indicating that they intend to pick their student up for school on a specific day. Otherwise students will be put on their normal bus at dismissal time. Parents in grades K-4 can go to their students classroom for pick-up while students in grades 5-8 will meet their parents/guardians in the front of the building at dismissal time. |
Uniform Policy
Wexler-Grant is a proud uniform school! Girls can wear khaki jumpers, skirts, shorts or pants with a navy-blue polo shirt. Boys can wear khaki pants/shorts with a navy-blue polo shirt. Students can also wear blue sweat pants on gym days. Please note that uniforms are mandatory and non-negotiable. Lastly, school uniforms can be purchased at Walmart, Target, Burlington, etc. Students that do not wear their uniform daily will not be allowed to attend assemblies, participate on field trips, attend monthly uniform celebrations, etc. |
