BookFlix - is an online literacy resource brought to us from the New Haven Free Public Library that pairs classic video storybooks from Weston Woods with related nonfiction ebooks from Scholastic to build a love of reading and learning for children, pre k – grade 3. Features 80 fiction-nonfiction pairs and 20 Spanish pairs. Click here to access the New Haven Free Public Library Kid's site and then click on Library Databases and scroll down to BookFlix.

Research- New Haven Free Public Library - has so much to offer! Stop by in person to the Stetson Branch which is located at 200 Dixwell Avenue in the Dixwell Plaza. Parking is available in front and behind the library or the Ives Main Branch which is located at 133 Elm Street on the corner of Temple Street overlooking the New Haven Green.

TruFlix is another online resource brought to us by the New Haven Free Public Library that brings books to life. It features electronic versions of Scholastic’s award-winning True Books series paired with topical videos, project ideas, age-appropriate web links, and interactive educational games.
